Hoses as addition to pipes

I suggest to add hoses, and some kind of wall-hydrant to attach hoses to. 

Practical example: Build a wall hydrant somewhere near the liquid fuel rocket tank, attach input pipe at one side, and let dupes connect a hose from the hydrant to the rocket. When the tank is full, the hose can be disconnected, and put back into storage. Hose-storage has to be placed as a seperate building somwhere.

Such a system could come in handy in many different situations, where one dont want a permanent pipe-connection.

Hoses cant pass closed doors (will be destroyed when door closes), and of course can not cross walls, and have a max-lenght.

I`d prefer if the gantry was repurposed for that application as a retractable pipe or if they introduced "pipe-gantries" but the hose idea isn`t that bad. Might be useful earlygame.

Sure, gantrys could have that purpose too. But there are plenty ways to use such hoses at other spots.

If we ever had fire-fighting then hoses would make a lot of sense there too.

But don's see any need to destroy them in a closed door.

Doors: Either you cant close a door with a hose through, or it cuts of the hose. Both would be okay, but you cant close the door.
