Colored LED's

What about colored LED which take about 5w to light.
You can use them to signal you when something is full empty or warning you. 
Instead of scrolling across the map for that system you placed over in the corner.

You set up a LED near the man base to turn on when your (storage of O2) is running out and you need to get on a different system it before it's to late.
Maybe notify you when you have enough fuel for the rocket.
The fuel has been emptied from the tank and rocket is full.
Have a room full of slimelung O2.
Set a light to let you know the slimelung is gone and you can move in.
Let you know when slimelung is getting to close to base.

Although the last 2 can be managed with a checkpoint however I found a flaw in them.
When a dupe tries to go though and the checkpoint is closed before they get there.
They don't cancel the job and find something else.
They just sit there waiting on it to open.

Easier to just lock down or open a door.
