Cipupec2
1.Does dupes receive the 'Plumed bathroom' bonus when they use the shower in washroom or I can put showers any generic room? 2. What happens if sink is in use? for example in the setup bellow, will they wait, go to the other sink in the room, or just leave? Saturnus
1. You can put the shower in any room. There's no additional bonus for them being in a plumed bathroom. 2. They'll just leave. If you put a bi-directional sink between the lavatories it'll work as intended. Having only a single Sink between 2 Lavatories would result in a lot of contamination for Dupes leaving on the same side as the Lavatory they used. That unfortunate, I had a nice single door bathroom design which I butchered because I assumed that there was one. Thanks for the calcification 2. not exactly, if two dupes get in, one would wash its hand on the second sink before going to the toilet. Saturnus
Just now, Cipupec2 said: 2. not exactly, if two dupes get in, one would wash its hand on the second sink before going to the toilet. Nope. Dupes only wash their hands if they actually have germs on them. Typically that would be after using the lavatory. Just passing a lavatory doesn't transfer germs in any way. Cipupec2
Indeed, we set direction so that dupes who already have germs wont waste time on double washing, which would be the issue here. Again. I'm not disagreeing with you per say. I merely said that if you put a (3rd) bi-directional sink between the lavatories the dupes will wash their hands after using the lavatory which was the original question. You did not ask whether or not it was an optimal design. You can have a pass-through bathroom if you like. The advice I gave makes your pass-through bathroom design work as you intend.
