nvzboy
After playing around with the liquid and gas storage bulidings from the preview and finding they can be used for disinfection without creating externalities I came to the conclusion that there are currently few options to disinfect liquids and even fewer for gasses. What I propose is a building that has liquid inputs and outputs and a gas input for chlorine. It would also require some power to work (say 480 watts) and give off a small amount of carbon dioxide while in use. The liquid that passes through the building will then have most if not all germs removed (can be tweaked for balance). Aesthetically it could resemble some makeshift UV-oxidation disinfection. This would make for an intuitive but resource demanding solution that also produces an externality whereas most methods for disinfection are: just wait for the germs to die or expose them to extreme heat or cold.
