But you are looking at wrong spot, look where area is green, you will see window in the list of decor bonuses. The space occupied by a solid object will always present as "0 Decor", for just that reason -- it's inside a solid object. You can observe this with any type of Tile, whether it's a Granite standard Tile, or a refined Gold Metal Tile. The square occupied by that tile will always show 0 Decor. The Flying Fox Posted August 9, 2018 Share Posted August 9, 2018 Another interesting thing you can do with diamond window tiles (Since they're made out of diamond) is use them for heat transfer. Diamond has better thermal properties then all of the refined metals so, technically where ever you'd use a metal tile for transferring heat around, a diamond window tile would be.. slightly better. I most cases, however, the difference between a iron metal tile and a diamond window aren't going to be significant enough to use diamond for this purpose.
