he77789
Best way to implement this: Add a logic output to critter dropoff and make it require refined metal. It already detects it, right? Make it not just dupe-readable. Make it Human-readable. Shaymes
maybe a slaughter mashine to slaugher critters by a setup age, maybe a new job the slaughter with bonus on tinkering / combat Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94156-critter-sensor/#findComment-1070803 Share on other sites
Yannick Vachon
Once you have access to automation, it is quite easy to build an almost automatic killing machine for the critters. The only thing that is not automatic is the carying of the critter around but the fact to only keep what is needed is easy to setup with the drop off as it is now. he77789
How can you determine the critter's age with automation? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94156-critter-sensor/#findComment-1071059 Share on other sites
Yannick Vachon
There is no need for that once you have the machine rolling. Right now, I have 10 stables full of 8 hatches each. Everytime an egg is dropped, someone comes to get it out of there and bring it to my incubation room (a place where no dupe can go and where the hatches can go out once they hatch). When they go out, they fall in a room where every critter found is moved away. From there, if one of my stable needs a new hatch, because one died of old age for example, it is moved back there. All excess is drowed so I can get some barbeque done for the colony. And i works pretty good as I have 10 stables full (so 80 hatches) and nearly 140 eggs incubating at the moment Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94156-critter-sensor/#findComment-1071175 Share on other sites
