Yannick Vachon Posted July 25, 2018 Share Posted July 25, 2018 In the update that come tonight (the one that added a bunch of new rooms, I saw a few things that, in my opinion, could be better. The first one is related to the Washroom which is a room with a Sink and a Lavatory (any other combination of Outhouse and Wash Bassin will leave you with a Latrine room. Why only asking for a sink and a lavatory? It is supposed to be the best washroom ever and you do not ask for a shower and why not, a hand sanitizer in it? Those buildings would become a little more used like this. The second one is for the Great Hall. It require a mess table, some decoration, some recreation item and to be bigger than the normal Mess Hall. With the change to power for the Arcade game and for the Phonobox (respectively 1.2kW and 960W), people will not put those in a Great Hall unless they swim in excess of power. Which people will put water cooler instead. But we are talking of a Great Hall here so, why is there not a requirement to have a refrigerator in it? I don't know how they do things in your colony, but in mine we keep the refrigerator in the kitchen, not the dinning room. Yannick Vachon Posted July 25, 2018 Author Share Posted July 25, 2018 Normally, I keep the food in carbon dioxide (no need for power then), the kitchen is where there is oxygen being delivered because I do not want my cooks to stop working due to no air. As for my mess halls, normally they are under my beds so not too far from food. Sure but there, the food does not spoil in like mere minutes if you leave it in the open And the guests are not spending most of their time digging in far away places just to have to travel even more just to gather their own food. We're talking nobility, cold food is spoiled unless it's meant to be cold. That's why the kitchens are always adjacent.
