Some use for printer

Recommended Posts

Seeing that just reminds me how much it irritates me that neither the light nor the decor bonus of the printing press is actually equal on both sides of it and its just weirdly off center. 2 light on one side, 3 on the other, decor bonus 5 tiles on one side, 7 tiles in the other. Wtf.

You could fit two more berries if you put glass on both sides of the Farm Station...

Thank you, it will be fun to take maximum out of printing press.

But glass is end-game toy. If base can safely produce glass, two or three extra berries in pots will be bad joke :)

Talking about glass and end-game stuff. Anybody try to use solar panels with printer light?

Actually you could make the glass forge with raw materials (eg Abyssalite), and researching the forge and glass tiles isn't very difficult.

Looking at research tree, glass tile will be last thing researched. Really, postpone research of useful thing just to plant three berries will be strange.

And as far as I can see, this glass will be extremely hot, without proper cool down, it will kill berries. Again, it is possible to organize cooling, but at that moment three pots will be insignificant.

But again, thank you for maximizing my simple idea - I will make it just for fun after creating and cooling some glass

:shock::shock:Really? Either you use glass(long range=dim) or leave no base tile for printer...dunno if printer is ok without base tile...only know not functioning entombed...

Printer doesn't work without proper base, and it lights up just single cell below. It emits light from top cell just right of center (third cell in it's top row)

Lack of a foundation tile will also suspend all attributes of the Printer Pod.  Way back when I used to actually replace all the Tiles from Sandstone to Granite, I discovered this.
