I have to disagree that the terrorbeaks are not overpowered; if you have more than one of them after you you're essentially already dead because their attacks do a whole lot of damage and pierce any armor that isn't shadow armor. It's be different if I expect to not get my ****ing head chewed off through a football helmet /and/ log armor.

The way you kill Crawling Horrors and Terrorbeaks is the exact same: Run up close enough to them to bait them into attacking. Just barely dodge out of their range during their attack animation, quickly run back up to them and bop them one. They disappear in a poof of nightmare stuff and reappear a short distance away. Rinse and repeat.Crawling Horrors, even in numbers, are easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. They're nice and slow so they're easier to time. Sure, they're relentless with their pursuit, but you can get quite some distance on them, regain some sanity, and just not fight them at all.Terrorbeaks on the other hand? Not only are they relentless, but they're very speedy. Not exactly the easiest task to pick up flowers with a Terrorbeak in hot pursuit.Unfortunately, I find the best means in dealing with Terrorbeaks is to kill them. In numbers, this means a lot of dodging, and less attacking to be extra safe because they hit like a truck. It's just hard to hit them and make them do the disappear/reappear thing. Often times if you don't have pretty nice timing you both instead trade blows, and that's a scenario that will get you killed quickly. If there's any tip I can give you to deal with Terrorbeaks is stock up on the healing items that cause the fastest animation of your character. Eating things like butterfly wings and blue mushrooms are super fast. Your character just pops it in his mouth for like a third of a second. Meaty foods like fishsticks or honey ham? He sits there for a good solid second munching and then wiping off his face. A good way to get smacked by a Terrorbeak. Healing Salve is barely any better.Edit: Almost completely forgot!Once I killed a few hallucinations by burning down a forest. I had no idea they took burning damage and I'm not sure if they still do, but if you've got good timing, trying burning down a forest and getting them caught in the blaze. Might be the difference between life and death.
