Subtle way to tie in Gorge/Forge lore into main game

There should be at least some cosmetic evidence in the main game that forge and gorge happened. Yes, they happened in isolated dimension/worlds, but I just thought this would be at cool way to pay homage to the past events, and build anticipation for new players so they look forward to the events.

Rough example: A fire pit from the forge, introduced as one of the molten lava pits in the desert. A statue of one of the goats from the gorge

The thing is they haven't gone full course yet as far as we know.

• Six entered the ancient gateway
  • Six fought in the Forge
    • They got split up
      • Three cooked in the Gorge
        • ???
      • The other three ???

They haven't canonly returned, so it wouldn't make much sense for stuff in the main game to be affect if we're talking canon lore. That said, it's very possible the third event will take place with the other half of the original six, and thus perhaps Wilson, Wicker, & Wendy (along with Mumsy & Billy) will return to the Constant.

Mumsy does say they'll follow "back to our world", but the question is if Mumsy is in an actual position to know if that's where the portal will lead. It seems the way Klei is going with this is Pigs, Merms, and Bunnies. Meaning the next event will be about the bunnymen and be the final event taking place with the other three characters, but that's just the current guess.
