WanderingKid
Has anyone else been getting some odd thermos sensor readings? I've got a base I'm poking at with the new radiant ventilation pipes, and while I can't understand this massive drop in temperature readings, it's occurring for some reason. It doesn't even match the lower bounds of what I'm doing with the dual thermo regulators. Don't want to post in bugs about this one if it's something I'm just not seeing, but the occasional random seeming spikes in temperature drops is really weird. Okay, NOW it's just being ornery.... to the bugs! Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91119-odd-thermo-sensor-results/ Share on other sites
FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
Every 200ms, the temperature sensor will record its current temperature. Every 1600ms, the sensor will sum the 8 records and then divide it by 8. Your current number is -78.3°F, but the result is -125.9°F. -78.3°F=211.9K, -125.9°F=185.4K, 185.4*8=211.9*7 I strongly doubt that your sensor only records 7 numbers but still divide the sum by 8. Did this always happens? I guess you could post it in bug tracker. WanderingKid
Fair enough, but I don't understand the results either way. There are empty spots in the pipe, but I can't see that being the cause. It's certainly playing havoc with my cooling on/off switches. File's attached if you're willing to poke at it. The only thing that has changed is the values in the valves on the CO2 pipes. Kabrute
empty spots record as -273, where that averages should give you your resulting value, no? please report bug thank you Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/91119-odd-thermo-sensor-results/#findComment-1038746 Share on other sites
