Skins usage for non Plus members

So I may be a bit late to the console party but after popping in my disc I'm a bit disappointed I can't Obtain or use skins Without a plus membership. No reason to pay to play online when i can just use my PC and play online for free. I think we should still be gifted and able to use skins in offline mode. Let me know if ther is a way around using the plus to obtain and use skins.

I'm normally not one to let Klei off the hook, but I think in this case they really don't have much of a say on this matter. My guess is it's all sony's doing

This is ridiculous and so not true! My PS Plus expired a few months ago and I'm able to play online, get daily skins... skins only drops if you play online and not offline mode between, maybe your mistake was to play offline and expect skins to drop. DST is one of the games that does NOT require PS Plus membership to play online, I can 100% confirm this.

Uhh someone can't read... It 100% does require it.

i'm not a ps plus member anymore and havent been in months and i can join online games and get skins

if i was a ps plus member i would have a + sign next to my psn https://imgur.com/jgheJ3t

just tested i can join or host online https://imgur.com/CAFBl0Z

i dont play maxwell but set this up to show that i got recent skins from current event https://imgur.com/gx67Ywy

Sony rules. every game that can be purchased required PS+ to play multiplayer. Klei had nothing to do with it.

If you have another account that has PS+ and set as an active, every other account will get access to play online games.

What I'm suggesting is a patch that allows skins to drop in single player mode. and ability to access the skins menu without internet. It was just a suggestion. It was weird that the Steam version did not require online play for the same thing.
