ArunPrasath
Hi All, Now that we are moving on to the more advanced part of the game, I believe its time to start allowing building to have very high overheat capacity. Eg: Pumps can have a very max of 125 degrees Celsius when built using Gold. While that is sufficient, what about placing pumps in magma reservoirs to pour them directly into water to heat them up for the steam generators? I get that there are better ways to do this without implementing high overheat cap here, but this is just an example. Also, need insulated power tiles to prevent heat/cold leakage in pincha and sleet wheat farms. ImpalerWrG
I think we just need to go to specified melting points for each metal with super metals like Tungsten having their real high melting points. Coolthulhu
We surely don't need another insulated tile to do the same thing as uninsulated one except with less thermal conductivity. Something to adjust vacuum sealing could be good, but if not, players should just use existing in-game tools like vacuum sealing. The building UI is polluted enough as it is and the whole idea of "can't build HW wires through tiles" is already all but demolished. Mixed feelings about magma pumps, but some buildings certainly could use bumped heat limit. Gas generator exhaust heat powering steam turbines would be both a nice engineering challenge and realistic.
