Wrangling Dreckos - Exploit

Recommended Posts

I was wrangling dreckos for my ranch the other night on stream and noticed that if you wrangle a drecko who has already had their scales trimmed off, they immediately go back to have full scales when you release them.  Doing this you could trim them, wrangle, release, trim, wrangle, release indefinitely for unlimited reed fiber or plastic resources.  Pretty sure this isn't an intended feature and might need to be corrected.

This has reported in the bug report section, and will reportedly be fixed in the next update.

Currently, wrangling critters of any type will reset them to completely wild, with default values for calories, tameness, and scale growth.

I kinda hope they keep the turning back to wild aspect of wrangling. They can fix the reset of everything else, but keep turning back to wild thing. I use it to turn tamed pacu's to wild ones since wild pacu's are waaaaaay more useful than tamed ones. Other wise Im limited to only the wild pacus in the world.

And anyway it kinda makes sense if you think about it. People catch and release animals when they need to be rehabilitated. So they're tame when taken care of but need to be wild again when released.
