Mr_Rob
I love this game. I have spent far too much time playing it when I should be doing other things and the rest of my games collection has been badly neglected pretty much since ONI was first available. I have an issue with critters. It's not a bad issue. It's a very amusing issue that ensures that I will never run out of meat. Every now and again my base is overrun by a spontaneous mass hatching of sage hatches and the normal plain grey hatches. They seem to appear out of the ground just below my base where I have not placed any tiles and the original sandstone, algae and dirt has been left untouched. There are masses of them and they make quite the cacophony when they burrow down at the start of each day. I also get mass spontaneous hatches of plain and tropical Pacu's in my fresh water tanks. There are so many of them that the water starts to rapidly disappear before going back up to normal again. I cannot feed them because they empty the algae feeders in no more that one second. Has anyone else had this happen? It has happened to me three times in my current base which is at cycle 409 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90706-they-are-trillions/ Share on other sites
loserfits
Do you have storage for eggs or just eggs laying about in those areas? I believe there is currently a bug where all the eggs on your map hatch when you load the game. Lilalaunekuh
Yeah happend to me too. You can fill your fridges with eggs without them hatching, but if you save/reload all 100% incubated eggs will hatch at once. So 150 slickster appearing inside your kitchen are just a common sighting these days ... Mr_Rob
I think this must be what is happening. All 15 of my duplicants are able to live off barbeque meat and nothing else. I don't even have to have a Pincha Peppernut farm as there are numerous clusters of wild plants around my base. It is an amusing bug and the noise the hatches make when burrowing down for the night is quite startling.
