hyev
Last time I checked insects/bugs could not fly in a vacuum. Ah well this probably has happen before. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90492-how-do-they-fly-again/ Share on other sites
crypticorb
It's a bit of a world generation bug, as you'll find pufts in vacuums occasionally as well. I believe Klei updated critters to require temperature ranges for survival, but I'm not sure vacuum counts. It would be a bit unfair for shine bugs to be extinct immediately if the world generator placed the only couple in a vacuum. Yoma_Nosme
*imitating sir david Attenborough "Deep inside the asteroids dwells an un-newtonian shinebug. Look a this fine specimen of a very rare species! It eats physical axioms producing lift in the process. Astonishing! But as the dupes dig further and further inside it's habitat in search for resources, laying waste to this fragile environment the shinebug has to adapt or become extinct. Hopefully dupe society will come to understand it has to protect this little fellow for future dupes to come before the last of his light fades into oblivion." *Attenborough out Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90492-how-do-they-fly-again/#findComment-1032701 Share on other sites
