This is just a Suggestion

... I know you guys are being sarcastic but actualy some of those wouldn't be all that bad.

Like a portable chemical toileton wheels (it's a thing in real life) with a ank that has to be emptied similar to the outhouse but smaller and movable for when your duplicant have to work from from the nearest outhouse/lavatory, wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea.

Or a 'smaller' bidet that take less place that the lavatory (only 1 square large for 2 high intead of the 2large /3 hig of the lavatory) that you could put into barrack or sick bays.

Think of Dupes, they do not need a backpack (with which to carry more) or something to move faster, no no, they need sh.. buckets for heavy moments :))

But, if we take things seriously, if we do not want to build a bunch of toilets everywhere on the map, something similar to ecological toilets it would not be a bad idea.
I hate when they run all the map to dig a little, and then come back all the way because they want to go to the WC.

The map isn't that big, you can build one outhouse in each area, near the main paths (in the top half of the map you could build a firepole directly to the outhouse). They are build fast, maybe connect the areas with tubes later for faster maintenance. Be creative. I think the game shouldn't offer too easy solutions. Bigger problem is when they need to eat something, especially because of the assignment to mess tables.

I have to partialy disagree.

I guess it really depends what you are expecing of the game,a matter of game design/expctations but I feel, personaly, like in a game lke ONI having more option is generaly a good thing. It allows you to personalize how you answer chalenges in every playthrough rather than having to rely on one or two ixed method ifthatmaks sense

And in this optic, I feel the game should offer some 'easy' options to problems, as in 'user friendly' solutions, but that come at a price,. Maybe by comming later in the reseach tree, by using some harder to get  resources or using some elcetrecity, generating heat and so on.

Even if the player choose/learn afterward no to use them as they learn to get 'creative' with simpler means or learn to think outside the box, it's nice that the option be there at first.
