Oozinator
3 hours ago, Kroning said: Can't see the damn PoI. Is it a bug? You can manually edit your savefile and remove that FOW from the ruin. Here is how to fix it. Edit 2 Sorry i was wrong, it's about fixxing shadows in templates, not savegames.. Arash70
Weird, shouldn't it have shifted the structure somewhere else? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89843-fow-at-poi-bug/#findComment-1026495 Share on other sites
PhailRaptor
Since Ranching M1, PoIs seem to be able to overlap each other. I have seen quite a few screenshots in the last week on the subject, and have experienced it myself while mashing the New Game button for a favorable seed. Oozinator
POI placement really sucks since last update (?). Placement is bad, sometimes borders between biomes destroyed and had flooded starterbiome too.. It's been happening since Ruins were added to the game. That was.... what, Oil Update? I can only assume it's intentional. It used to be just a little bit but lately I've had entire chunks of the starter full of gas and germs from the other biomes. It slows me down early game. Kroning
No PoI. Just geyser. Used debug to open. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89843-fow-at-poi-bug/#findComment-1026654 Share on other sites
PhailRaptor
In that case you should absolutely submit a bug report. If you have a save from before you opened it with Debug, that would probably be the most informative. That would be not the problem for me (speed), but sometimes it creates impossible missions ^^ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89843-fow-at-poi-bug/#findComment-1026673 Share on other sites

Oozinator
When it's gamebreaking for you and you need a fix, here is one.. Enter debug and create a template of the section (make the selection some tiles bigger then the black zone). After you created the template, search for it in your game folder (posted howto in my last link/thread) and remove the FOW for that template. Then destroy the area in debug on your map and take care that the volcano is deleted too (move it away in a corner of the map, block it with some tiles(forget about it)) After that place your template in the map, where you deleted the black zone.. That's all.. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89843-fow-at-poi-bug/#findComment-1026922 Share on other sites
