Scary, Frightening, Terrifying, Bloodcurdling, Chilling, Creepy, Horrendous...

...And all other words that mean scary.

So I decided to go into the update blind, only knowing that there was going to be insanity and a few other things. I jumped into a wormhole, seeing how much it would reduce my insanity, and to my surprise it was a lot!

Then the night hit... I saw... moving shadows... growing and shrinking in size...

In real life, I was like, "Okay, harmless... nothing to be worried about here..."

I got curious what would happen if my sanity went down a LOT. Ever hear the phrase that Curiosity killed the Cat? I think it is very fitting for what happened next.

I jumped into a wormhole twice, just to see what would happen. I knew I could recover my sanity quickly by eating some meat and that hounds weren't a big threat (I had heard them the night before)... so I decided it would be worth the cost of a few meat. My sanity reached about 29 from jumping through that wormhole twice.

I saw my first nightmare monster, and I tried to kill it because I saw there were new magical items able to be created from those souls, which I figured would come from those monsters. I hit it, then it teleported behind me and started attacking! I hit it again... same thing... again... again... again... not realizing that my sanity was decreasing at a rapid rate because I was fighting it.

My screen started having these curly white lines across them with very creepy music and night hit at probably the worst possible time, because the hounds came aswell. I did not want to see anymore, so I thought quickly and made a straw roll, remembering that I read something about it increasing sanity, then slept in it.

Life Lesson Learned:

Don't go insane... it is terrifying in real life as well.

From what I've seen, killing the nightmares always gives a nightmare fuel. But when you're insane bunnies have a chance to drop it as well. Not sure what the chance is.Looking at the files, it has an equal chance to drop nightmare fuel as it does monster meat. And, it has half of those individual chances to drop a beard hair, which is weird

Perhaps effigy ability for the masses? Especially since coming back through an effigy is quite interesting now, as insanity is still highly active.
