Oni Noob
I am planning to use BorgCube to cool water from steam, but not sure whats the best and optimize setup. Should I add tempshift tiles inside the borgcube?? Should I add Conductive wire bridge to make the water cool faster? If you have some recommendation please let me know. TIA And one more thing should I have another set of pipes that radiate around the water for cooling it? MidnightSteam
Put a hydro sensor connected to a pump so you can automate the process. I made mine with all metal tiles. As for tempshift plates I'm not sure. Putting some outside of the cube will help it spread faster. With water, mine cooled to 17 degrees Celsius in seconds. Oni Noob
All metal are made of tungsten btw and both pump and aquatuner as well. Hmmm should I put tempshift outside? what you think guys how can I improve the cooling 1 hour ago, MidnightSteam said: Put a hydro sensor connected to a pump so you can automate the process. jimraynor0
The 2 metal tiles at the center can be any material, and they don’t have to be metal tiles. You can replace them with abyssalite and it’ll cool at the same rate(maybe even faster) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89544-borgcube/#findComment-1024023 Share on other sites
MidnightSteam
@Oni NoobHere's some pictures: Set the hydro sensor to half of what a normal tile will hold(for your type of liquid), in this case, 500Kg and it will automatically stop for you. Use a Liquid Shutoff valve if your pump is too far away. Now this is how I would build it. Throw some tempshift plates made of Igneous Rock everywhere. From boiling hot steam to cooled temperature in about a cycle or so.
