tiagogesto
Hello friends Well, I found a solution create a power bank using standard batteries and smart batteries. The power circuit and automation circuit its too much simple!! In this pic you can see 4 standard batteries and 2 smart batteries in parallel. Step 1 - When the discharge start, the first smart battery go until zero Joules and enables the second smart battery. In this moment, the standard batteries stay between 19,5 or 20 kj. Step 2 - The second smart battery start the discharge and go to zero Joules too. In this moment the standard batteries are full discharged and the second smart enables the power switch to start the charge again. Step 3 - Adjust the time in buffer gate to guarantee that power bank is in full charge. You will need test your system to know what is your time cause the discharge varies. in this example, the output in buffer gate is being used in power switch, but you can use in yout generator to save energy!! I'm learning English so sorry!!! I hope this helps you. Flydo
Less you can use normal battery, better i will be, most of the time they generate heat for nothing, a smart one link to a generator limit waste energy from gen and from battery, plus less heat Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89399-solution-to-use-standard-batteries-and-smart-batteries-in-the-same-power-bank/#findComment-1022585 Share on other sites
Soulwind
With the advent of smart batteries, regular batteries are obsolete. Once you have the refined metal needed to make the battery and automation wire that is. 1 smart battery can control an entire bank of generators and ensure that they run on demand and no other times. Your equipment gets the power it needs to operate and you're not wasting any power generation. Using full battery banks is now more or less pointless. Honestly I think the smart batteries need to be adjusted to give them a power draw limit or something, as right now there's very little reason to ever make more than one per powerplant, unless you want to control which of the generators get turned on. Even then, you only need 1 smart battery per "bank of generators". I only use regular batteries until i can get smart batteries up and running. and then I only use one or two per type of power generated when I want them to kick in at different times.
