Smart battery question

Recommended Posts

I need some help in setting up my smart battery bank.

I have the power gens hooked to a smart battery then to the rest of the battery bank.  All sequentially.  Then I've got an automation wire from the battery to the gens.

The battery is set for 100% and 75%.

Problem is that since the smart battery only holds 1/2 the power of normal batteries, the rest of the bank is only ever partially charged.

How do i get it to charge the whole bank?

You can't per say, to get that to work you would need to have your system like this "Power Generator" -> Smart battery -> Transformer - > Main Battery Bank. Then rur your main Battery bank as you usually would.

Just a wee headsup though, normal batteries lose charge quicker than smart batteries IIRC

Kabrute beat me to that point, if you use just a single battery and connect it to everything it will turn on power when it needs it and distribute it as its taken. Reduces heat generation, energy loss, resources and space.

My design i am going to use will only have 5 batteries, one for each power type so that I use the most common power first, all the way to the rarest.
