PickPay
Every few seconds the pump says "Pipe Blocked". I searched other similar topics but not my situation. There's plenty space in the pipes, nothing blocking at the end. Happens with both pumps. To the left is the Thermo-Nullifier, to the right is the H. Generator. No power issue. I can't see any reason for this. Any ideas ? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/87833-gas-pipe-blocked-gas-pump/ Share on other sites
Nativel
You have to use couple bridges, the bridges works not only like bridge it also create priority inside the pipes and when you have 3 streams meet each other at once it will make this happen. I see what you trying to create, so you have to see this: Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/87833-gas-pipe-blocked-gas-pump/#findComment-1006689 Share on other sites

What I'm trying to achieve is maximum pipe throughput (1000g/s) with minimum machinery and simplest design. This is why you see a 3rd pump present but then pumps stop even more often. Keyimin
Pipe bridges. They're in the ventilation menu and aren't automation, just another piece you can build. Plumbing has the same for water pipes. You want to use them to feed multiple lines into a main line, rather than merge the pipes the way you have. The gas gets "confused" when you merge pipes in a way that can lead to gas coming and going in two directions. The typical behavior of a pipe merged into the middle of another is that the gas will split in half and go to each side of the line. But when that line has something else connected to it that effectively makes it a one-way only line (e.g., a pump's out line), the gas that's being merged tries to go both directions but can't. At that point, your pipe becomes "blocked." PickPay
Yea I've been using bridges before and there was no "confused" gas here but wow I didn't realise their secret purpose. Meanwhile I happened to redesign my layout which included a bridge for other reasons but after watching your video I added another one and no more "Pipe Blocked", thanks a lot ! So Im very happy. With the power plant boost this setup is self sustaining and the throughput is perfect (unless some other gas comes in). To anyone out there that wants a simple to build oxygen production room for about 10 Dupes.
