More Steam Geyser Questions

Recommended Posts

I have a general question first, I am trying to irrigate 129 plants right now.  At 20Kg a cycle, I need 2.58 tons of water a cycle (2,580 Kg).  How much does a geyser output a cycle?

I am currently using a drip bug to cool water.  I tried pumping water into a tank with a hydrogen filled nullifier encases in a iron box, but my water tank was just to massive for the nullifier to do anything about real cooling.  I think I got my water down to about 50.  I am wondering if mass is not the issue?  Would a minimally small tank around the geyser, surrounded by iron, surrounded by a large hydrogen room with a nullifier ever be able to keep up? I could pump the water out as soon as it cooled.  This would take a while to build, because I think I would want to pull a vacuum inside the steam room and fill with hydrogen and, of course,  pull a vacuum in area outside the steam geyser and fill it with hydrogen as well.  I am sure someone else has done this.  Is it worth the race I would face in my dwindling food supply to try and complete the project?  Can a nullifier keep up with the steam geyser, even if you are only asking it to chill as soon as it erupts?

@old_fantom Keep the extra plants. You don't want water reservoir of the farmtile to be full with hot water. It is better if you use up all water right away.- If you have a few plants running dry at the end of the farm you don't risk build up of hot water. Thus not heating your farm area more than you need to.
