Soulwind Posted February 6, 2018 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Not that anyone cares, but here's×how I would balance the occupations. 1. Set the passive attribute cap to 10. 2. Reduce the passive exp gain by 25%. 3. Reduce the exosuit penalty to -4. 4. Eliminate the exosuit job entirely. [It doesn't really fit as a job..so what do you do? I wear exosuit. Yeah, but what do you do? I wear exosuits.] 5. Set the cap of job assignments to 5 dupe, but count each tier separately. So, 5 master miners, 5 journeyman miners, 5 apprentice miners. 6. I don't really have an opinion on the priority system. I like both. I like the idea of job/non-job priority but the UI was horrible. It needs to be 2 actual (and displayed) sets of 1-5. Anyway, those are how I would do it, if I was in charge. I don't get that job either, I think it's just there to keep happy those who got used to universal duplicants wearing exosuits all day but I don't think it's the right direction for the game. 5 I don't think so. In my opinion every duplicant should be allowed to get any job. If you want 60 miners, get 60 miners. The game mechanics should make it a bad choice. This game shouldn't limit you on number of dupes in this manner. It should cap you based on resource limitations. If there is a cap on dupes per job, it should scale with the number of duplicants. Doesn't mastering the exosuit job make you fast in exosuits forever? The rest of these changes look make the game more challenging. (If I am understanding one of the main complaints properly.)
