I know, but only during in autumn (that's why I wrote "not always"), which makes birchnut tree farms less reliable during spring and summer and you won't get a single birchnut during winter. So it limit the time you can make log farming. Which of course isn't a big problem since Bearger spawns during autumn, but it does affect if Maxwell or Woodie is the main log source. It's just question of timing if birchnuts are worse or better than cones, depending on player abilities and preferences.

And you can always switch to farming only pine trees during winter, and leaving Birchnuts alone until Autumn rolls around.

Hm. disease is still occurting unfortunately.. It seems it only saves for the time I am playing and when closing the game and coming back I have to disable it again?
