Plants get an extra timer

I've noticed that as I play the plants in my garden tend to sync up, its tied to saving and loading because a game once started doesn't mysteriously sync but after 2 or 3 loads its all at the exact same time..... and with a big garden that means that at that time my computer stops.....if the plants had a second maturity timer that was as persistent as their growth timer this would prevent this problem from occuring.

Ask NASA to calculate growth with your 2k farm, when they have free chromakey renderpower.
Before OU, i had the problem, that the plants got the "harvest ready" only, when the farm was visible on screen.
When i "overwatched" another part of the map, far away growth haltet.
Result was the same.
Automation impact is big, usage of many doors (AU/combination), to lift/move stuff has heavy impact too.
Delete plants, or fresh base.
Perhaps your sync problem is adding up, when you save with "harvest ready" plants? When you restart game those harvest tasks get done quick.
So over time more and more plants will be ready to harvest, at same time. Could be, because of overuse farm stuff, you would need around 20 harvesters around the clock, to make harvest a "steady flow" (not adding up)?

My garden has locked doors, the sync only happens on save/reload with harvest ready plants all becoming exact same age....
