Strange water behaviour

Recommended Posts

PAvG9I have a problem with my polymer press cooling setting. I decided to go with water, because with oil it would stack up due to steam condensation, causing flooding. As you can see, the system is extremaly simple and efficient enough - hydro sensor is set at 200 kg, thermo sensor at 50 degrees, and every few cycles the coolant is replaced. However, water behaves strangely. From time to time it gets pushed to the side and there's one tile left dry. I have no idea how to deal with it: I've even built this hilarious sprinkler on the top, but water still divides after some time. There's no naphta or other oil, that could cause this issue. What's more, it seems to stack up anyways, as the polymer press on the left gets flooded (and therefore there had to be two layers of water).

Well, that will be the simpliest solution for sure. However, I'm a bit afraid that this CO2 bubble can appear on the airlock. I'll try with airflow tiles and see how it works.

Still - it seems strange, that a 20g bubble of CO2 is "stronger" then 100 kg of water. Usually water spreads evenly, that's why it seemed peculiar to me, that it happens in this situation. I guess it has something to do with steam and phase transition happening within a pool.
