8-Ball
It would be great if somehow containers like the ration box and refrigerator could be hooked up to an automation network. For example, a refrigerator could output an "active" signal if it had more than 50kg of food inside. This could be done indirectly with weight plates if they were changed to measured the weight of the building on top of it along with the contents of that container. Or the container itself would have an explicit configurable condition and behave like other automation control buildings. Additionally, it could filter on only certain contents. So if the refrigerator had meal lice and liceloaf inside, the condition could be set to be active if only liceloaf > 50 kg. The concept could be applied to storage containers too. Neotix
Instead of connecting storage to the network, the weight plate should interact with them. In that way we could be able to control materials amount and production. chemie
I would like to see this applied to all production chains. Like for refined metal too. Medicine. I do not like "+1" or continuous but rather set to a specific inventory count.
