I understand that pausing could be potentially frustrating for people playing along w/ you, but I feel like that wouldn't outweigh the amount of frustration caused when I need to exit the world just to get up to use the bathroom or something. I guess that Klei could always implement a team vote pause or unpause, or maybe just make it an option when you start the world, so people know what they're getting into the server when they join.
