Gittum Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 I have googled and searched these forums but I can't figure out why my Maxwell Shadow Puppets cannot be attacked. I hold CTRL to Force Attack and I see on my Shadows "Attack" but if I press F, Maxwell goes and punches a wall. Nothing happens at all if I hold CTRL and Click the Shadow Puppets. All of my keybinds are set to default and everything I read says I should be able to Force Attack them to destroy them, but he just won't do it. Even if nothing is around in the middle of trees, I hold Left CTRL, press F, and nothing happens. I see "Attack" above the Puppets, he just won't actually do it. I'm sure I'm missing something. Anybody have this problem or know what I'm doing wrong? EDIT: A friend suggested changing the keybind and that worked. Force Attack is now V and that works, for some reason Left CTRL doesn't work. Gittum Posted October 31, 2017 Author Share Posted October 31, 2017 I do everything you're doing in that GIF. I Force Attack, mouse over the shadow puppet, but when I click to attack nothing happens. I have tried it with and without weapons, disabling all addons, and starting new servers. For some reason my game will not attack shadow puppets. EDIT: A friend suggested changing the keybind and that worked. Force Attack is now V and that works, for some reason Left CTRL doesn't work. Have you considered your left control key might not work? No macros or special keys of any kind using Windows 10.
