It would help give campers something else to worry about when they are farming their surrounding resources. I must say, the larger maps make it harder to camp also.

Making the map larger doesn't actually make it harder to camp, you could simply huddle in the corner.Preventing players to camp takes a lot of thinking, making the land large doesn't really do it.
