Sometimes I'll chase them down, and sometimes I'll just ignore them. Honestly though, I rarely bother picking berries anymore. My food tends to spoil faster than I can eat it. Winter should make things more interesting!

yeah I mostly pick 4-5 at a time to make food off the berries and othertimes just leave them on the bush. To be fair I never have more than 6 berrybushes. But I used to farm berries before the spoilage update and I learned a few tricks to how to deal with gobbler then.
