Momotall
How about adding some logic gates and a timer in the game so that we can make coooooool automatic system with them? It's gonna need a very large space to build a logic circuit in game, so I suppose we have a integrated circuit system: 1.Silicon Refine Machine: Requires power, turn sand into silicon. 2.Integrated Circuit Maker: A machine that uses metal and silicon to make a chip. You can design your very own chip in it. A chip can hold a lot of logic circuit in it thus greatly reduces the need of space. This machine will need a lot research to unlock. And may have a interface like this: This system won't add any difficulty for new players and will give skilled players more possibilities in the late period of the game. We can use thermo/hydro/atmo switch with it to build many automatic systems. And I suggest we have more automatic electrical equipments like a airlock that will automatically open if powered. LeadfootSlim
I definitely like the idea of logic elements like timers and sensors in a compact form, because as cool as mechanical water locks are I'm getting tired of having to kludge them together in every single building game I play. Timers with complex action sets alone would be wonderful. Masterpintsman
I would be happy to have an electrical toggled switch, 1x3 sized similar to a liquid/gas filter with input, enable (middle connection) and output - with a toggle in the interface that negates (NOT) the detection on the enable connector. This would also double as a diode (power only flowing through it in one direction) if detection is set to NOT and enable is not connected. A second tier version of it could have additional options regarding detection, like above/below available/consumption/production and a threshold slider. eloy2030
have anyone played factorio... omg how i miss the login circuits there. There u have not, if, and < > = + * - / and all sorts of things that u coulnd imagine... pretty much like minecraft redsand. people make computers inside the game... it is insane. Devs surely know the game, i hope they r thinking in adding this stuff. A simple transistor / diode would be awesome, though you could do it in a single tile that looks like a K rather than 3 tiles. An interface like "Active if above/below ___J" would open up a whole bunch of potential.
