TerTerro
Need help, had a nice idea. I just cool down air and send it at the bottom of my water geysers tank. But what happens it says it's overpreassurises, why? Air should go up and out of water. I builded gas perm. tiles. PickPay
Gas and water dont mix ? You cant push gas through water. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/79048-help-trying-air-cooling-water-bubbling-from-bottom/#findComment-924279 Share on other sites
Kasuha
Sadly no, this idea doesn't work in ONI physics. A tile can only contain gas or liquid, and a bubble of air can only go up in liquid if it can exchange places with the liquid above it. The water cannot enter the gas permeable tile, so the air is trapped there. Even if it worked, you would not get a lot of cooling from that. What you can do, though, is build a meandering gas pipe in your water pool and send cool air through it. It will slowly cool the water through that pipe. If you want it a bit more efficient, send cold hydrogen through that pipe rather than air.
