Scrimbles Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 The only item that appears next to the symbol is the data mined reskin for the cane, so thats where I'm putting my money. We aren't even sure if this symbol is the reason we haven't completed the puzzle. Is the item wrong? Is the number of items wrong? Is EVERYTHING wrong? My interpretation is "key, guardian (looks like a rook), and what looks like a hand holding something" For a mural it would make sense to have it be "key the guardian holds" suggesting we need to use the guardian horn. Cheetos Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 The two extra symbols shown in the trailer clips are unused in any solution, but I still have no idea what they do. Fuel weaver loot items + moon event items? it doesn't really seem to add up. Unless it's the biggest red herring by klei it does seem pretty logical to focus on what exactly it is. (Moon event seen in the background, with the staff icon present in every puzzle solution). (The fire symbol repeated, featuring a fuelweaver and the gateway).
