Threehorns
Anyone tried this out already? They seem friendly enough, even provide meat So far found 3, Coal poopers, Slime droppers and Polution Farters ... yeah, they got different names ... do not know those. Left4twenty
You can keep them alive, amd even utilize their different properties, but aside from the morb, I don't believe there's anyway to create more creatures in regular play. And morb only replicate on loading the map, by spawning on dead dupés, (this might have changed) so not the most ideal means of breeding. Otherwise, keeping the creatures around can be quite handy if the systems are in place to give them adequate environments Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/77476-zookeeping/#findComment-900965 Share on other sites
ZeroGrim
I would love for some options to do animal husbandry, maybe in further parts of the tech tree. right now I just want a convenient way to move these creatures about, I always build my bases in fairly similar ways and find myself just bulldozing through their habitat. DuraLex
Speaking of which, has anybody ever mentioned that morb + puff + hatch in the same controlled environment = neverending coal? ItsWybro
Hatch was easy to catch, I made a deep enough hole under his burrow, put in some ladders, then dug up his burrow so he'd fall in. His being nocturnal makes it handy but I'm not sure if it can eat it's own coal. The flying, not nocturnal creatures will be way harder to catch. If they below ur base More easy than hatches. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/77476-zookeeping/#findComment-905976 Share on other sites
dwarftopia
Do Morbs have any practical use? Pufts turn contaminated oxygen into slime, Hatches apparently make coal (I've never seen them doing it tho) but Morbs? I mean, I guess they recycle a bit of chlorine, but apart from that they're just annoying. Kasuha
Morbs produce polluted oxygen. Morbs + Pufts + Hatches = unlimited coal. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/77476-zookeeping/#findComment-908455 Share on other sites
