Might. Anyway, there's ought to be some servers hosted by others that are public and where you would be able to make friends better. It's also better for long-term worlds if you're hoping to achieve that. Rellimarual Posted April 9, 2017 Share Posted April 9, 2017 Keep your eyes peeled for smaller servers looking for good players -- which only means friendly, helpful and easy to collaborate with; most of us would rather play with a considerate person over someone who thinks of themselves as good but is bossy and insensitive. They might be unpassworded for a while when they're "short staffed." Also, if you meet a good player on the official servers, send a note asking if they know of others. I've met some really nice people on open servers (usually not Klei) and then invited them onto my server. You just have to make a few more connections, and sometimes putting up with higher ping is worth it for that. xVera Posted April 10, 2017 Share Posted April 10, 2017 The voting system definitely needs some work at least on the official server, can Klei or the community assign a GM who regularly check the official server like once a day. Personally, I'm sort of ok if griefer came by and destroy my base because I still get to play with others and I can rebuild my base on somewhere else. However, there was a case where I got voted out by a group of people the moment I spawned in a public Klei official server. These guys (gangster) are the worst because they have the majority vote power and they can kick whoever they want like they own the public server. Seriously on a public Klei official server?! is it hard to host a private server? this is NOT OK.
