Vomiter For Water
I have built a base to solve the problem of water. Toilets are disconnected and stress is at 100% all the time with all of the tiles being mesh and a water tank at the bottom. What do you think? Lifegrow
Perfectly viable approach, and something a lot of people (including myself) have tried at one time or another Now i like to try and keep my bases "yellow-free" as much as possible

I tend to play in a minimalistic fashion now, use as little resources as I can comfortably until ready, steam geysers kind of solved the water problem, ice is useful for cooling down the water pumped from geysers, love using new approaches from each update, the vomit system was a good one if you utilized it well, and still is viable if you choose, but in my own opinion there are better methods now. Left4twenty
I think dupes only drop 1kg of liquid each time they vomit, but the lavatory drops 4kg more liquid than is put into it each use, to my knowledge. Making vomit comets rather obsolete. The geysers create clean steam aplenty
DovS
It's a fun approach but it's only limitless polluted water. Getting clean water out of that is going to use up sand in your purifiers.

The lavatory takes in 5kg of water and produces 11.7 kg of polluted water.
AlexRou
The problem would've been solved if you just used geysers

"small bladder" trait my butt
MoMuffins
I'm pretty sure. The amount that they drop is for effect and not design for realism. The devs plan to change it.
Lifegrow
Well bugger me, I'd only just noticed the dupes are 30kg in the details bit. I'd been dreaming up that secretly they were 12ft tall* (*based solely on the fact their "lavatory visits" are 6.7kg )
