It starts over heating and burning any dup near it. placed a hydro fan next to is and that keeps it cold... but not sure if it's normal to start over heating so quick... I mean by researching on it about 5 times and it's so hot it kills my dups.... It has killed 3 dups in the time it takes to research 5 points to get the hydro fan... Don't build any other heat generators near it. DON'T BUILD IT IN CARBON DIOXIDE. CO2 is notorious for it's multiplicative heat generation. But yes with CO2 having the highest density of the "sane" gases, there is a lot of mass per tile to move heat with. It's specific heat capacity isn't really insane though; the exact middle road of the available gases. You can store ice near hot stuff it helps a bit I'm not having any heat issues except the Hydrogen Generator thats in a closed room. DarkD Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 The hydrogen generator shouldn't even be producing heat. It only gets damaged if you feed gasses other than Hydrogen to it.
