Game crash

@Apollyos, try checking for Steam Client Updates. Click steam top left and click Check for Steam Client Updates.

If that doesn't work, here's a drastic method you could try:

  • Right click the Steam shortcut icon and select Open File Location
  • Delete everything inside this Steam folder EXCEPT SteamApps and Steam.exe
  • Once ONLYthe folder SteamApps folder and the Steam.exe file is left inside the Steam folder, run Steam.exe

Bootstrapper often crashes and causes problems.
Have you tried resetting your PC?
You don't actually need to, but it should fix the problem if bootstrapper needs to be reset.
The other thing you can do is go to task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del / then select task manager) and close
all the bootstrapper processes.
You could also fully close and reopen steam. Make sure it has completely closed though, by also checking in task manager.
If none of that works, and the bootstrapper problems persist, even after resetting your PC and resetting Steam, try this:

Like a regular reset of the PC.
If you are on windows, click start bar, and reset.
Did you try the other stuff above?
It might help people to help you, knowing that you have tried these things.
Basically, it seems like it's probably a steam error.
That doesn't mean it couldn't be an error with the game, but at least we can rule it out if you try these things above.

@SpoonsOnMyElbows yes i tried the other stuff above except the reset windows because i can't make it now.

I need to transfer some files to my external hard drive in order not to lose them  And my pc will be reformat in a few weeks, which will be better than a simple reset.

You don't need to reformat.  Just a regular reset, as in power off, power on.
As long as you are not in the middle of using or editing your files on your external drive, it should be fine. You can even "eject / safely remove drive" to be sure. So you tried ending task tree for all steam related stuff in task manager already, and then re verifying?

If so, then do this:

Go to C:\Program Files\Steam (or the Steam directory that was specified during installation).
Locate ClientRegistry.blob and rename this file to ClientRegistryOld.blob.
Restart Steam to allow the file to be recreated.

If that still doesn't work, do this:

Go to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Downloading
(or the Steam directory that was specified during installation).
That's where the update files are located during patching,
erase the content of folder and restart the updates

This is a Steam bug by the way, not a bug with the game.

Yes i did it all with the task manager.

I changed ClientRegistry.blob by ClientRegistryOld.blob and bootstrapper don't responding.

i have nothing in my folder C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Downloading, my folder Downloading is empty.

If reset my PC is power off, i turn it off all days so it's ok? or i don't understand? =)

my folder AppUpdateStats.blob is missing in C:\Program Files\Steam normal?

Yes, it's ok if that file is not there.
So you did all that, with Steam closed, and then restarted steam?
When you restart, it should remake the file ClientRegistry.blob.
Is it back there again?
The only other thing i can suggest is that you delete everything in your steam folder, EXCEPT the SteamApps folder, and Steam.EXE.
This will re-download everything, but keep your games.

Good luck!

I did as you told me but the ClientRegistry.blob file did not return and I still have the ClientRegistryOld.blob file.

My bad, apparently steam doesn't use this file anymore, but it used to cause the same issue you are having.
Did you try deleting everything except SteamApps folder, and Steam.EXE?
Don't worry, you won't need to re-download all your games.

@Apollyos do you by any chance have a controller plug in to your PC? Disconnect it first before opening steam. So steam should be shut down and removed from the Processes in the Task Manager, then unplug controllers (if any) then start up steam again and see if you're able to run a game.
