PaulV Posted February 28, 2017 Share Posted February 28, 2017 You place it down, then put something that requires power next to it and then you place electrical wire between the two (icons will appear when placing wires that tell you where the outlets are). Then a dupe will automatically run on it to charge the connected devices. It helps to put a battery in there too, so they don't have to run all the time. I'm guessing it's battery percent left/battery percent used, but it seems like they use it either way. You could also connect up a battery, they will use the generator to charge it. Probably best to do both. @Zezarict: I've asked myself the same question. Dupes will use the manual generator even if it's not connected to anything. They will then wait until the battery depletes to the threshold level before getting back on and charging it back up. This stops the dupes from continually getting on and off the generator to top off the last % of battery whenever power is being used. PaulV Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 @ArkhamTwins: The two devices are not connected, you need to click and drag a wire from one to the other. I think you may have just clicked to place a wire on each spot, which does place a wire, but doesn't connect the two together (this is so that you can put two lines parallel to eachother without them connecting everywhere). If you put a space between the two devices, this is more obvious.
