solounomas
I herded 3 pufts in there to make a slime farm. once I built the surrounding tiles, every time I turn around there is always 1 or 2 missing. there used to be airlocks involved, and I noticed they easily get crushed in them so I switched to the moats. maybe a pathing problem just culls them out of the world? is there any debug function to spawn mobs, I see a DebugSpawnMinion but this apparently works for dupes only. I've reloaded this so many times trying to catch them dying or getting stuck somewhere
Saturnus
They're probably just exposed to too low temperatures. Puft will cease to exist when exposed to temperatures below about 29 degrees for more than a cycle or so, and by that I mean that they don't leave a corpse behind or anything. They just vanish. CfSapper
They are fragile little buggers, keep em at 30C and away from anythi g dangerous and they will float around in peace.
solounomas
ty, that seems to be the problem. put a distillery in there to generate some heat and they stopped dissapearing. the devious part is every piece of slime they drop is 17 deg and cooling all the air around it when not submerged, they have some stone cold poop... feels like there is some free air conditioning mechanism in here somewhere
Risu
Morbs will icebox themselves to death if you enclose them in insulated tiles.
