Animation gifs for the critters?

Well, you could decompile a critter with all of its animations. Then you can inspect them in Spriter (they can be a bit broken, but you'll get an idea how they should be looking).

Animations/builds are in "anim" folder in Don't Starve Together. 

Animation/build names of critters are:

sheepington
pupington
kittington
dragonling
glomling

Download ktools and extract needed builds/anims. Let's say, you want to extract sheepington. You need to extract sheepington_build and one of sheepington's anims (there are "emotes", "emotes_wip", and "basic" at the moment). 

Now that you have your atlas-0.tex, build.bin and anim.bin files, copy them into ktools folder.

If you're on Windows, then open console (type "cmd" into the search bar) and go to ktools' folder (cd foldername - goes into a folder, cd .. - goes up one level). Use command "krane anim.bin build.bin foldername" to get your sweet animations unpacked.

Now you need to download Don't Starve Mod Tools on Steam (in "Tools"). Open the animation file in Spriter, and you can watch all animations in all of their glory (not really, but it's not as bad as I make it out to be).

Pretty simple, eh?

If you only need to know how they're called, you can look them up in stategraphs.

Thank you for a great explanation at how to find the animations in the future! It was kind of hard to get it to work (I looked at a few tutorials), but it was beautiful in the end! It really helped me to understand how some of the animations worked. I didn't draw all of them though, some of them weren't necessary.
