And am actually PLAYING... and people come in... get a gift after 15 mins then leave. I get NOTHING! Then like an hour later... a gift. WTF? I am ok with this after all I play the game to play it, but I have to admit, after weeks of this it's starting to grate on me. It ALWAYS takes about 2 hours of playtime before I get a gift. And then that's it for the week... do I need to be on an official KLEI server or something? It takes a few hours to get gifts, normally 15 minutes to an hour for the first one, then even longer for the next, until you get 4 gifts for the week. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you get gifts on LAN servers, only online. I've been keeping count the last couple of weeks and the first one takes between 15 minutes and I've seen it go up to 2.5 hrs for it too. It's just random for everyone. Seems like my first one is about an hour or two into the game always for me. People come into the game. ten minutes... GIFT... But you're saying that it is actually 15 mins to an hour for the first one, then later? that would fit my experience. Sort of depressing me now because I know I will get a stupid yellow collared shirt and then NOTHING for the halloween events... but oh well. Well, I would focus more on the game and not the time it takes for your next gift to drop. If you don't get any halloween drops (the costumes) you can always take your commons and bring them to the Trade Inn, because there's currently a higher chance of getting halloween drops from the Trade Inn during the halloween event. I should know, I normally have horrible luck when it comes to the Trade Inn, but during Halloween, I got both a Hutch hat and a Chester costume. Arlesienne Posted October 30, 2016 Share Posted October 30, 2016 The drop times are varied for all of us. You need to be playing online too. LAN should work, you're probably a victim of the Lady. Be sure to start playing soon after the Klei stream. The counter resets some time around it.
