Just boot up your game after updating and they'll be sitting in your collection (until they're removed after the Halloween events). I am logged in to my primary account which does have a PSN subscription. Is this scenario supposed to work, or is it restricted to offline only? I needed to create proper sub-accounts for each of my kids' accounts in order to play online with me as the primary.
