First trade-up - Profit or a Loss?

Recommended Posts

Brought like 6 overalls to have a total of 9 spiffys for a trade up, with £1 I made selling some random CS:GO skins

I'm not expecting much, but I would make a profit with an item worth over £1, I am not flipping, that would maybe work but takes WAYYYY too long, and the inconsistency is too risky.

In the first picture you can see 9 spiffies, 6 of which are overalls, 1 is a trench coat and 2 are backpacks. 9.

So, did I do good or bad? Lets see. (I typed this specific bit before even having Don't Starve Together open, lul). I spent 0.13p*5+0.12p*2 so (i brought a trenchcoat yesterday) (I know this dents my spiffy collection, but I like having higher tier collections than lower, thats my personal preference). 89p isn't much, so I would hope for a profit, I will probably not use the item I got from it, but would hope it was cool enough to sell back on the steam market, make a profit BACK, and then buy the stuff I do want. I did a LOT of flipping on Runescape 2007, and alongside that ranarr farming to make my first 1m, off topic.

i did..

bad-ish, I lost 6p but now I have a snazzy tuxedo! Yippie! This was my first trade and I was hoping it would of been amazing, but I will update if I find anything cool.

I don't want it so I am selling it on the market for 83p, 12p lower than the original. I will maybe do another update if people are interested in my collosally bad luck with trade-up, or would like to share stories to make me embarrassed or shocked about your own luck.
