Darn the Luck!

So I'm a PS4 player, yes? I've gotten all of the trophies except for "Shifty, but Thrifty" which is the only one that is purely luck based. Been playing enough to get all 4 drops since the launch of the PS4 version (Except the 1st week, since it came out on a Tuesday and I didn't have enough time to get the fourth before the reset on Thursday). Had 7 Commons at the start of this week, and thought "Man, I only need 2 Commons this week and I can get the trophy? Easy!"

First drop? "Werebeaver Brown" Trench Coat.

"Okay, that was an awesome drop. It works for pretty much all the characters and looks great. Happy I got that, and still have 3 more chances for commons. Cool, cool."

Second drop? "Insufficient Chocolate Brown" Tweed Waistcoat.

"Alright, another amazing drop. And at this point, it's looking great, based on the odds, that I get two commons after this, right?"

Third drop? "Cumulus Gray" T-shirt.

"Great! See, if I keep going like that, I'll be able to get the 9th common I need to craft them all together by the start of next week!"

Of course, while waiting for the fourth drop, I think to myself "Boy, I've gotten some incredibly lucky drops so far for shirts and gloves (I've gotten "Werebeaver Brown" Buckled Gloves, "Houndbone White" Driving Gloves, and Tuxedo Gloves since I started playing), but I haven't gotten any neat shoes... Oh, the "Scribble Black" Low Heels look pretty swell and could work on a bunch of characters. I hope I get that eventually. Just got to focus on this common for now."

AND OF COURSE, WHAT'S MY FOURTH DROP!?

"Scribble Black" Low Heels.

I CAN'T EVEN BE UPSET. I GOT WHAT I WANTED.

I'M MAD THAT I CAN'T BE MAD AT THIS SITUATION.

 

Oh well, surely another week and I'll finally get that trophy and the Platinum with it. SURELY.

(Please give us trading, microtransactions, more drops, ANYTHING on PS4. PRETTY PLEASE.)

Is the trophy based on getting four commons in a row?

Nah, you need to use the "Trade Inn" which requires you to give 9 items of a specific rarity in exchange for an item of the next rarity or two up.

So if I trade in 9 commons, I'll get a Classy or (VERY RARELY) a Spiffy level item in return.

Technically, ANY higher tier. Some lucky bastards have tumoured to get elegants. But you need more commons, right? How many? Maybe I can give you some?

Well, the entire dilemma here is that this is on the PS4 version, which has only been out for almost 4 weeks and has NO Trading or Shop options. It's 100% luck on the PS4.
