And tying back into my whole Sims thing; there's also a "loves the COLD" trait.  For a Sim who's never been bothered by it anyway. 

(Seriously, I've got one who looks like Elsa, just because I found that hairdo and couldn't resist.  Then she got a free hoverboard from the time-traveller dude who introduces you to Into the Future, and I have her ride it EVERYWHERE.  It's awesome.)

As for an actual Don't Starve character who "brings ice", do you mean like, someone who starts freezing nearby things (including people) when they go a little bit insane?  And maybe whenever they do, they get a bit of sanity boost--similar to how Willow's insanity fires, in and of themselves, cheer her up a little?  That might be interesting.  Also the ice would only cause damage to the immediate area instead of spreading like crazy the way fire does; hence why summer does indeed suck more than winter.  : P

For my server issue, I should probably put that in the "Don't Starve Together Technical Issues" forum.  Heh.

Nice. Some ideas of perks:

- overheats when insane/overheats easily/loses much sanity when too warm

- very resistant to freezing

- additional damage when using ice-based weapons (alright, morningstars too)

- has recipes using ice from the start or at a lowest tier like Wickerbottom

- some relationship with winter mobs
