artemiyME Posted May 13, 2016 Share Posted May 13, 2016 Sleepy Times Stories(aka STS) needs some adjustments(in my opinion and several other players on my server). From images below you can see that the range of activation on the book is way out of scale for PVP-geared servers which is at mark "30" on images below. Elaborating on that, Mr. @BoomBoxBeat developed a mod (link to mod HERE) allowing server hosts to adjust the range of STS activation to their desire. I host all "Strictly Unprofessional" servers and I will be adjusting the range based on YOUR input. Before you say: "But there are many other ways to 'balance' PVP servers", let me tell you that we tried many things ranging from completely negating STS with Rabbit Earmuffs, to making Caster (Wickerbottom) sleep as well with STS usage, and that resulted in one useless server which nobody wanted to play on. I am not proposing to "Balance" PVP, because there is no sensible middle ground for all characters and players that play them with their own opinions. What I'm trying to do is help the situation in any way possible. Strictly Unprofessional is my go-to server to recommend my group's members when they want PvP, but this modification is indeed dearly called for.
